Andrew, the overall design is nice except for a few minute details.
1. Under Training Events and resources, you should have used 10px verdana and not 9px, makes it quite ineligible to people with weak eyesight.
2. You could make your navigation menu more visible on the page as a whole.
3. Thats about it. Make those changes and it would be very elegant.
