My first meal at Texas de Brazil was
Friday evening February 5, 2010 with a party of six. I was not aware of this resturant even though I have lived in Memphis over 50 years.

I traveled a lot in my profession allowing for dinner in most areas of the country. I must say the food was absolutely up there with any restaurant where I dined with service absolutey impeccable. I will return. Jim Walters

All joking aside, I have discovered that it is quite affordable to get take-out from TDB. I got 3 pounds of meat and a pound of bananas for $75 a couple weeks ago. I recommend the bacon-wrapped filet mignon and the Picanha. I was a little disappointed in the garlic picanha. I whipped up some mashed potatoes and salad at home. Our family of four (two teenagers) had enough meat for two days. When I do this again, I will just get 2 pounds and the bill will be about $50. That’s pretty cheap for what you’re getting, if you ask me.
