This past weekend I did a little house hunting just to see what I can get out there for the money that I can spend. Unfortunately this area is a very expensive one to live in, so a decent amount of money doesn’t really take you very far. I’ll have a post later on this week with the couple of houses I was looking at. While I was driving home, I happened to see a couple huge houses, and decided to look around the area to see what else I could find. Here’s a little gallery of what I found (these are all in the South Riding/Chantilly and Clifton, VA area, which makes the houses a lot more expensive than something you would find in a more rural location):

Gorgeous style house, and I love the deck over the garage! With a Mercedes, Lincoln Navigator, and a FJ Cruiser sitting outside, it makes you wonder what is in the garage.

This house has a 5-car garage! I didn’t get a good picture of it, but you can see the 2 car garage. There is also a 3-car garage attached to the left side of the house.

This wouldn’t be too shabby of a cul-de-sac to live on.

I didn’t get a picture of it, but this house had a guest house a few hundred yards from the house that was pretty big as well.

This was one of the smaller houses, but you can see how much it was for sale.

This picture does the house no justice, it is much larger than it looks. I will definitely be coming back in a couple of months to see how it progresses, but this was by far the biggest house of the day.

This house is hard to see due to all of the trees, but this was the 2nd largest house of the day. I believe it was either owned by or is still owned by an AOL exec. There is a separate ranch to the right that you can see in the next picture.

I missed the picture on the house, but you can tell by the gate that what’s behind there must be nice!

Nice fountain out front.

This had to be my favorite style house, even though it wasn’t the biggest. I love the modern look.

I had to take this picture while driving, so it’s not the best shot. What I did miss in the picture was the huge fountain that is behind the column in the middle of the picture. I’ll have to update this picture one of these days since it’s not too far from where I live.
